Barry Goldwater- He is from Arizona and was a US Senator for five terms. He was the GOP. candidate to run for president in 1964, but lost by a landslide. He was very vocal about desegregation. He also supported the Civil Rights bills.

Shirley Chisholm- She was a politician, educator, and author who was born on November 30, 1924. She served seven terms in congress and was the first African American elected to congress. She was a founding member of the Congressional Black Cactus. She became the first major-party black candidate to run for presidency, in 1972.

Robert "Bobby" Kennedy- Born in Brookline, MA on November 20, 1925. He was a United States Senator from New York from January 1965 un oil Jun 1968, when he was assassinated. He was assassinated in California after winning the CA Primary for President of United States. He demanded for every area of government to begin recruiting ethnic workers.

Anita Bryant- Born on March 25, 1940 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. She was a singer and anti-gay activist, she also led the "Save Our Children" campaign. Her political career hut her business and entertainment career.

George Wallace- Born in Clio, Alabama in 1919. US Governor from the 60s through the 80s. Was known for his support for racial segregation in the 1960s. Only person to even complete four terms as the Governor of Alabama. Died from heart failure in Alabama on September 13th, 1998.
